My new stickers!

Here are the new stickers that I got for free from Vista Print.. can't wait to try them out tonight

Question though - what will you do/say when you get the kid who doesn't have good manners who wants a sticker? Tell them better luck next time? (I'm not concerned about the kid, actually, but the parent who thinks A. their child is an angel or B. they don't care how they act, but give them a sticker anyway so they can avoid tears/tantrums?)

no worries! I don't even mention the stickers.. it's a whole thing.

kid says Thank you, " Thank you for being polite!" and then plop the sticker on them. If a kid asks, I tell them that kids with polite manners get stickers! I dare a parent to mess with me on this issue. lol.

Do prompted "thank you"s count? I tell parents that their kids have great manners if they say thank you without being asked, and sometimes I get a, "they'd better!" back, haha.

I can just see the shy kid not saying anything and being upset that their outgoing siblings get stickers but that's how it goes...and it's a whole other topic that my unborn theoretical children will be polite etc

it went over well! the kids were happy, parents LOVED them and only a couple of kids asked why they didn't get one. When I said, 'Because you did not say please or thankyou', they had this sheepish grin on their face, made sure to say thank you and then walked away. I also gave them to kids when their parents prompted them to say thank you. worked out well for everyone.
