Calligraphy "Class" on my Youtube Channel
I made a five video series to teach basic calligraphy to face painters. In Las Vegas at FPBA, everyone got a kick out of the glitter names I was making. So, in order to show how-to I had to start at the beginning.
Anyway...this is the last video and you can take a look and see if it would be worth it to you to sit through the other 4 videos (they are about 10 mins each!) If anyone practices this, I would LOVE to see it. (The actual application part starts at 2:15 mins.)

Now I get how to do free hand glitter tattoos. Thanks for the video!

I'm glad you liked it!
I got a kick out of watching the video back and figuring out why the glitter stuck to Emma's arm. Usually if you've wiped well with the alcohol then the glitter brushes away well and it's a better reveal....that's why I said "Did you lick it while I was gone?" I'll have to watch out for the touchies in the future.
She's such a good sport that I'm lucky to have her. What you see in the video is about as rebellious as she gets...she's a good girl and a good friend.

It was from Amerikan Body Art. I'm not sure what brand it is...I think it's Pros Aide. I added the blue to it.

It's pretty thin but I like that so it flows better with the rubber tool. I don't know what other brands are like. I haven't tried to refill the sponge lipstick applicators either...how does one do that? I'll probably have to buy new applicators so I can have some for the glitter kit and then just use this for free-hand.

what is a "rubber" tool. I have never attempted doing glitter art, you make it seem easy.

Here's a thread where we talked about getting the rubber tools. I found one at the craft store near the polymer clay area. It's basically just a rubber cone on the end of stick. It's easier to clean and so you can do free hand lines with it.
I got so frustrated with an intricate glitter tattoo stencil sticking the other day I wished I'd just free-handed a design on them.

Re: Calligraphy "Class" on my Youtube Channel
Sure! I found out that Leah Reddell might do the calligraphy in her FABAtv tutorial she's shooting. She might give me a shout out...that would be fun!
