Has anyone tried Vibe brand airbrush facepaint?
Just curious of your experiences. I am testing the product out now and curious if anyone has run into the issues I am having with the product drying in the airbrush and being hard to remove.
Re: Has anyone tried Vibe brand airbrush facepaint?
Well, the problem was SOLVED after a long phone chat with European Body art. The White I have has the right BOTTLE.... but has the wrong paint inside. So, when I was mixing water in to try and flush out the white, or adding white to another color, it would coagulate. It had their alcohol based paint in the bottle.
The two products smell very different, and that is how we finally realized whatw as wrong, as I was on the phone with them insisting I really was not nuts- ok about THIS any way.

Ok... I thought I'd follow up in this thread. I REALLY like the Vibe paint. Water based, VERy vibrant has yet to clog any of my brushes, can be touched up by hand as needed, dries easily, smudge resistant and washed off clean have yet to have any color cause a stain.
I did finally get to try the Wolfe E flow as well.... Meh. It covers ok, the price is fair, but it is very rough and stiff on the skin I found. I was testing the Hybrid. For my money, I like the Graftobian line much better as far as hybrid's go, and they have bigger color choice.

I've just started the water based airbrush paint and I'm pretty sure the one I played with was Kryolyn, used some of the Vibe at Las Vegas FPBA conventions and have liked both, but FAB seems to crack. I'm wondering if it's because I was doing too many layers..............
Re: Has anyone tried Vibe brand airbrush facepaint?
Fab was awful to use, cracks, smells, clogs. Kryolan everyone seems to be out of, so I am not sure if they are chaning the formula or discontinuing it. I do rather still love the Vibe, have been using it a while now. Easy to clean, vibrant, very capable of layering

OH good! Well not 'GOOD' but it's nice to know I'm not nuts! I picked up the FAB and just found it awful so thought I was just a spaz who shouldn't be allowed to use airbrush water based color! Ah HA!! Ok....well I know what I'll be picking up at FABAIC!
Re: Has anyone tried Vibe brand airbrush facepaint?
If you are going to Fabaic... stop at the Kryolan table and ask him what is going on with Air stream.... They seem to have far fewer colors than they used to, and most suppliers have nothing in stock.
Maybe I will try to go down there for one day of it, even if it makes for a a long day.
