Local Amusement park wants me!

I am very excited about tomorrow. An amusement park ,Camden Park, that is a little over an hr away contacted me and wants me to come paint every Thursday in June. I love this park and use to go so many times as a child and have taken my own children several times. It is filled with memories for me and now I get to go back doing what I love!

Its funny, anytime I get ready to paint a lot, I have a feeling in my stomach of, I'm not going to be good enough. But I am determined to always push past that. After the Pashur workshop, I am very aware of all of my shortcomings. But I am trying to look at them and learn and get better. Think of me tomorrow and say a little prayer that I do a good job for them!

Omg yes congrats nice park fun : ) , I moved from NJ now in Florida. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep me also I just got hired to do Detroit Tigers MLB in Florida on Saturday and have a church carnival event on Friday I will be soooo painted out lol. How did your day go?

I had a great day at the park. It was 95 degrees & humid, but hey that's Summertime. The kids and adults all enjoyed it. Cool of the park to be offering it to their customers for free on those days. They also have a balloon artist there, he was very nice.

Yes, Lacy, Thursdays in June from 12-4 are kid days. I paint from 1-4. Do you live close? I would love to get with some local artists to jam. I think it would really be helpful to bounce ideas back and forth with other painters.
