Hi everyone! I'm so excited to start learning things from all of you! The work I've seen is amazing. I've been face painting since my daughter's birthday party on May 1st. I fell in love, and have been practicing on kids at the park every weekend since then Smile I've tried painting myself, but it is very difficult to hold a mirror and paint with one eye shut . The picture below is my first try at painting my own face. . . notice the ridiculously uneven circle on my eye in the cyborg picture (hee hee).

I used to draw a lot when I was younger, but haven't done anything artistic in years. Painting faces is my way to relax on the weekend and get away from the ordinary. I have so much fun painting kids faces - seeing them with a huge smile after I paint their face makes me feel like I'm adding a little happiness into the world.

I can't wait to see what I can learn from you guys to improve!

Thanks you guys! Yeah my daughters party was May 1st. . .I painted a butterfly, a tiger, and a dinosaur on her face before that so I knew how to paint something before I had to do it on 30 kids, but I was worried I would run out of face paint so I didn't practice more than that. Since then I've ordered some wolfe, paradise, and some split cakes - OMG I love them!! The spilt cakes are gorgous! They make such beautiful butterflies Smile

I didn't think about that. . .I don't have much counter space in the bathroom, and don't even do my make up in there! But my bedroom dresser would probably work. I think having 2 hands free will help a lot!! Smile
