I haven't thought about adding any other service until now. I have been looking at glitter tattoos and they are very pretty. Are they fast to do? Is it difficult to learn? Would these be helpful to do at a large event? Where is the best place to by a starter set? I love to draw and paint but this just looks like a little something extra that I would like to learn to do. Sorry for all the questions, thank you to anyone that can help me out. Smile

I personally think the best place to get a starter set is www.signatureglitter.com

They are super easy, but really haven't found many people at all that add them on. Might be good if you work a lot of fairs and festivals for the tween/teen crowd as a PPF. I wouldn't invest much money until you actually get a job wanting these. You can usually get the supplies in a week or so rather than having to store them and wait for the calls.

Oh and DON'T buy the roll on glue! It is a mess and locks up the first time you use it. Get the one that looks like the lip gloss container and refill with glue as you need it.

The roll on seems like such a great idea, but absolutely sucks!

Good advice Metina. DON'T go crazy buying a lot up-front. A little goes a long way to try out.

I've, over about 5 years, have been HIRED to do glitter tatts a total of ZERO... I have done them on gigs but it was due to FP not being viably due to heat or rain - I was hired to FP specifically but switched due to conditions with the okay of the client.

I have my FIRST gig that has booked Glitter Tatts only coming up later this month... finally!

I collected my supplies by barter and trade so didn't actually put out a lot of $$ to acquire it...

You can now get them at Michael's that have a starter set set for $20.

Thank you Metina and Shannon for your expert advice. I will calm down a bit, ans just get a small amount to try first just so I can know how to do it. I have to go to Micheals next week, I'll see if they have a bit. Thanks Janet. Smile
