RANDOM CHALLENGE

While most of us are dealing with frigid temps and blustery snow days, it seems many of us are eagerly awaiting the new Tag game to begin after the new year. While we wait, I thought it might be fun, for those of us not away on vacation this week, to put up a random challenge to finish out this year: I challange everyone to do a design that shows us what makes you WARM and COZY! Lets get 'em posted by Friday (before the new year begins)! Anyone up for it? You can consider this a "practice round" for the new TAG game Ready, set, GO!!!!

My daughter beat me to the paints.
Problem: She didn't realize that when she painted the words "hot cocoa" in the mirror, it would come out backwards! LOL!! Lessons learned....

Okay, so ....since Laying on a hot beach isn't an option at the moment....a hot tub will have to suffice....(by the way, it looked much better in my head...LOL!)

I didn't paint this today, but....

Mmmmm warm & cozy well I can think of a few things that give me that warm & cozy feeling......but how to paint them

It is so cold here to, but no snow in sight. I feel like it should at least be pretty outside with snow if it is going to be this freaking cold!

Agreed Metina. I feel jipped her in FL when it's cold enough to snow, but no white stuff.

Well it's quick and 'dirty' but it's there! I wish I had split cakes for this one and sparkly cakes! But it's called, "Paradise by the Northern Lights". Nothing makes me more warm and cozy than my husband of 11 years . (If you are wondering why his head is pink, my husband is bald! LOL


If I had the time I would have put on my dupetta, given my hair more 'life', put snow on the trees, made more 'lights', outlined the hearts.....
Can I assume that everyone get's the 'shoulda, coulda, needed a bit of' after they have done a quicker piece?? Or do I have a problem just 'letting it be'??

@ Kim - I think it looks great! I can't tell you how many times I "woulda, coulda, shoulda" 'd myself out of posting things, thinking they just weren't good enough. I'm done with that.....new attitude for 2011!

Alright... new challenge(you can still post the cozy challenge too):

Paint the same base on both sides of your face, but make 1/2 pretty & 1/2 scary!

Oooh! I'm on it!!! 1/2 pretty & 1/2 scary

Unsure what you meant by base and then after thinking, I realized I did the challenge wrong...BUT I did do a half scary and half pretty in 'theme'....so here it is...not quite right but still...it's an 'answer' to the challenge! LOL
OH and it turns out, I did this backwards. Skulls on the left side of my face were VERY hard to do as my nose got in my way!!

Well, I don't know if this is exactly what you meant by pretty AND scary...but at this time of night, to me...it's just pretty scary LOL.... what can I say...really can't paint on my own face to save my life.....more paint on the mirror than on me... but, I tried!

Yes, my nose is problematic for painting the other side of my face. Try resting your pinky on your face(in a dry area) while painting. It'll give you a little more stability with the brush.
