Maggie, your work is always great! I'm loving that mermaid. I always find eyes to be difficult too.
Daizy, I've always adored your fairies. I even tried it once.

Wow Maggie! LOVE that mermaid, you did not disappoint! I think the eyes look great, they add a peaceful feel to the design, I'd say keep 'em.

Re: Please join us on the "Weekly Animal Challenge"
oooo..I had such a hard time when a little girl asked me to paint Ariel..I think I'm gonna try using this as the inspiration for Ariel. I may have to practice tonight!
Re: Please join us on the "Weekly Animal Challenge"

Re: Please join us on the "Weekly Animal Challenge"
I did a party and about 5 girls, including the birthday girl, asked for Ariel. Luckily, at least there was an invitation (to another party) nearby that I used as a reference and the kids loved it. But, I wasn't really happy with it. I found that same picture around my house and decided to practice some more. I'm sure it will be very popular if I actually offer it.

That is beautiful!!! So elegant, it would look perfect floating around the eye and across the forehead!
I love seeing everyones attempts at the fairies.. they are so cute!
I only wished mine would turn out as well when at an event, for some reason they never look quite right.
Re: Please join us on the "Weekly Animal Challenge"
Thank you Daizy! means a lot to me coming from you "the queen of the fairies"

BTW I am loving your new profile picture, so darn cute! The expression is the best

Just one but want to see which one everyone else picks.
Re: Please join us on the "Weekly Animal Challenge"
I don't mind. I still have to make something in the 'fantasy' category. I'm behind.

Re: Please join us on the "Weekly Animal Challenge"
Roger that! Okay, here a couple of cheek/arm art rabbits I do... I don't have a full face one I really like, so not posting that, lol.
For easter:
And what's easter without a chocolate bunny??
And okay... there's a backstory to go with these next two...
I used to show rabbits when I was in 4-H and every year at the end of the fair all of the different livestock barns (rabbits, poultry, swine, goats, sheep, horses, beef, and dairy) would have a "Battle of the Barns" competition where we'd do all kinds of mini games and whichever barn won the most, won that year and got its name up on the giant plaque that we had. Well, last year at fair, a bunch of my former rabbit mates came asking for face painting for the competition... and here are a couple of the results... lol

Punky, funny rabbits you did. You are very good at drawing.
Maggie, if I do a fantasy rabbit, I'm done for this week too ha ha.

Those are adorable Punky, I really like the chocolate bunny, yummm!
And those scary rabbits are so much fun, wicked cool!
Nancy, I supposed you can do that.
Hey maybe I can paint a fairy bunny, that would cover the bug challenge I missed, the fantasy and the bunny all together ha!
