Great creepy crawleys Nancy! The legs are spot on and really look like they're crawling across your arm. I gotta try those.

thanks but i didn't come up with the color combo lol wish i did! it was actually inspired by a jeweled scarab neclace i saw. it was a really lovely piece. wish i could have done it more justice Smile

My husband adviced me to go to the doctor but I just don't want to throw away 20 bucks down the drain for them to tell me I have a cold:)

BTW you have not painted in months and you painted that? wow! just imagine what you could do if you paint more often. Love that bug with the pink and blue wings.

I just get really hard on myself when I try to do something more realistic. I've always done cartoons and I've never managed to cross that bridge to lifelike and I beat myslef up over it

I love love that beetle! I sell bug jewelry (jewelry made from real bugs.) I wish I had one like that for a necklace!

I don't sell them online because they are real bugs, so each one is unique and there are sooooo many different kinds. But, here's a sample of what I sell (they're hard to photograph well):
