Hello to all and a very Merry Christmas! Decided to stop lurking and introduce myself. My name is Catherine and I have dabbled in facepainting for the last few years. Thought I would get a little more serious about it this time as I find that it is enjoyable and between other hobbies (cake decorating, picture tiling, polymer clay, etc..) I found that this hobby would be the easiest, as I can carry my kit wherever and easily do my thing, but will see what the new year will bring. Love all the help you all give here and I have learned a lot during my period of lurking. I am retired, married 44 years, mother of 5, grandmother of 8, and will be a great grandmother come this March and just turned 60 years old (still 16 years old inside though). I hope to be able to contribute someday but for now just will be doing a lot of practice and my son bought me the Tattoo Source book for Christmas too!! Very Happy Very Happy

No little faces to practice on as my family is scattered throughout California, from Soledad, Whittier, Bakersfield and one daughter in Phoenix, Arizona. Only young grandkids are 3 years old and 2 months old and still live too far from me Sad Thank you for warm welcome and I hope that I will be able to contribute something one day.
