Craft Shows are Not For ME!
A couple of weeks ago I did a Mall craft show not sure what to expect - Saturday was ok, but Sunday was deadsville and I wanted to go home and be ill from those two words C-R-A-F-T S-H-O-W. From now on, I will only do a mall if Im next to Santa and the line is longggggg. Fall is not the time to be in the mall as far as Im concerned. Thankfully Im back on the road to party central these past two weeks - but it was a hard lesson learned. If it sounds too go to be true, it probably is!

Thanks for the heads up Lori, I was contemplating doing one of those types of events...
I'll take your lesson learned as my stop sign.

Craft Shows attract adults & older people & are not kid friendly events. Therefore, not good for face painting. Made my big mistake with doing them in the early days of face painting.
I've thought of face painting by Santa if I got the opportunity, but wondered if it would be a waste? Most parents have their kids in fancy outfits & might not want kids painted for their picture.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Or maybe this should be a separate thread.

I had a lady in charge of seasonal entertainment at the mall call and ask me about doing some kind of entertainment next to Santa while the kids were waiting. She specifically said she did not want face painting, as people were coming to get their kids' pictures taken. I think it's understandable. I wonder if glitter tattoos might work instead? Those would be fairly easy to hide when taking a picture.
