does anyone have an e-craft cutter to make their own stencils? it looks like a good machine but wanted to check what everyone else thought about it!

I have a Cricut but when I bought it a few years ago, I didn't realize there were others like it out there. I didn't do my research.
Now that I know better (and I still like my Cricut), when it dies or I can give it to my sister and buy myself a newer machine, I will be buying an E-Craft by Craftwell for sure.
I have now done my research and feel confident that this meets my every (very picky) need.

I'll be interested to see if anyone here does use one to give firsthand information though.

I decided not to get that one because you can't use a mat with it. I'm prone to stupidity, and I was worried I would gouge something with the wrong blade setting.
I have a cricut, but I'm upgrading to a Silhouette. In fact I just ordered it last night. bounce You can use a mat, or if you are cutting vinyl, you don't need to. Then you can cut really LONG vinyl.
But I have heard good things about the e craft.

i went onto amazon and had a look at the product reviews and there seemed to be more bad reviews then good on there. they seemed to not work the way they said they would according to the reviews.

And then i went and looked at the website that sells SCAL version three and noticed that there was a sizzix eclips. So then i had another option. It was cheaper and although it has a cut mat it seemed to be alot better and alot more people had good things to say about it. But this is just my research so dont take my word for it haha.

overall, i would probably buy a sizzix eclips over the ecraft now!
