Could you guys do me a favor? Could you check my website gallery, and let me know how long it took you for the photos to load? I have been working on it today and am worried that it will take too long on slower connections. Thanks!

Re: Website Loading
I also have a fast connection and itloaded fine... BUT-
I looked at some of your image files, most of them are much bigger than the size you are displaying them at, so that is wasted bandwidth. If you resize the images on your site to be the exact same size they are displayed at, you will make the page load faster with no waste.

Re: Website Loading
It was quick for me. If the photos are too big in size or in file size, Photoshop "save for web" is the best tool for making them really small file size and high quality at the same time.

Absolutely no problem - I do have a fast connection though, too. Loved looking at your gallery and competition photos. Like your tribal dragon!

Re: Website Loading
Thanks everyone! That's a relief! Leaping Lizards - yeah I messed up... I resized them all to one size thinking that I'd add them as thumbnails, and then ended up wanting them larger. But the full size was TOO large for the main gallery page, so I had to resize on the page. I need to go through and downsize them again and save for web, but didn't have the time to mess with it today. Ugh... website stuff always takes three times as long as I expect it to.

Thanks Pixie! I stole that from Mark Reid.
