Re: Post your submissions here!
Metz,
What type of round brush, sable or synthetic? Also, you would really get a WOW effect if you added about three dots in several of the larger stripes.
Really like the color placement. Been staring for a bit to memorize the white.

thanks for the suggestion, I felt I wanted to add a little something more, but was afraid I was going to go too far. The brush is just a craft store cheapy synthetic.
Re: Post your submissions here!
If you can get your hands on a sable or natural hair round you will be amazed at the tiger stripes you get. Especially if you can get the effect you have already with a synthetic!
Re: Post your submissions here!
Jessica, I LOVE your work! Simply Awesome on your website, too! I second and third what everyone said about your Masks. The details enrichens them to da max and I love the shadows beneath the edges of the mask, giving a unique three dimentional look!
My question is; howdyadothat?
Cheers,
Susan

Re: Post your submissions here!
Ok....everyone else in America is watching the Super Bowl game, and I'm painting my face. So here are two more mardi gras designs for you all.
This one is very quick but looks nice....
Supplies used:
Snaz red, yellow
Wolfe black
Large Filbert
Round #3
Step 1: I used Snaz red for base to create a "boa" on each eye.
Step 2: Added Snaz yellow, a few strokes at eye and highlighted the ends of the red feathers.
Step 3: Added black strokes to make it "pop" and black for eye liner.

Re: Post your submissions here!
Ok, I didn't do any step by step pictures, I'm sorry... I didn't even know if this would turn out at all, but I think it's pretty darn cute.
For those of you who know it as Pancake Day (as I did in my youth) here's one more submission from me.
I started with the white plate, then light brown stack of pancakes, darker brown between each of them... then a yellow pat of butter on top, kryolan gold for the syrup running down, then some white hilights.
After that, I went on to do the face above it... white of the eye, light blue ring, darker blue dots, black for the pupil, outline and lashes. Brown eyebrow, a littlte pink in the corner of the eye... black for the nose and mouth, red for the tongue, then outline in black.
I did it all with a small round brush and a liner brush.
