I was looking to buy the shimmer wand from SF. They have them empty or with golden glam shimmer powder. Does anyone know what the "golden glam" shimmer powder looks like? Or what other color would be the best to get?

I love my shimmer wand it is very pretty on the skin alone and over designs. When I don't want to fuss with glitter I use it for that little extra pop. There is a whole thread on this very thing under FP kit or Product review. Hope that helps

I have one with "princess pink" powder. Great for cheeks and a quick shimmery base for crowns or one step roses. Way less messy than using the little pot. (Maybe that's my fault, though!)

Love my shimmer wands! I have one with pink powder, silver powder and white powder glitter. The pink one is perfect for princess cheeks... pink face paint is just too much but this glitter powder is perfect. I also use it as a base for some quick designs such as this:

I'm planning on getting them with blue powder and maybe purple as well. They make for very fast designs with a little extra oomph!

Wow- sorry that came out so huge! You still can barely see the pink powder in the pic but in real life it's gorgeous and glittery!

Thanks Squiggle!! I was hoping someone would show a picture!! It looks like it's just what I'm looking for! I had the same idea of using it for bases for tweens, teens and adults!!

LOL! No problem! But I'm not really sure how much they hold... I've only ever bought them pre-filled. But I do know the three I have haven't run out and I've had 2 of them for almost a year Smile

How do you clean them? Are you able to wash them without getting the powder wet?

I love my shimmer wand! I've been trying to figure out how to clean it as well. I was thinking maybe trying a baby wipe & then dipping it in rubbing alcohol since it'll evaporate.
