For those that pray, I could use your help

Wow! That's awesome. Does he have any permanent damage or will it be a while before they know?
I'm so glad he's going home!

Nothing is certain at this point. He is being discharged to go home, but my aunt needs to stay with him since he will need to be on bed rest for some time in recovery.

As far as permanent damage, his heart has gone through two major heart attacks and they will need to continue to monitor in the coming weeks to determine if he'll need surgery to repair that damage. Also, he has muscle weakness, but they say that is normal and he will be scheduled for physical therapy once they figure out the heart's status.

All that said, I'm not exaggerating when I say that his recovery to this point is truly miraculous!! The doctors were asking my aunt to make serious considerations for his organ donation when this first started, they had no confidence that he would survive.

I'm so glad things have turned for the better for you & your family. You just never know when it's gonna be your time, and this wasn't his, thank goodness. The power of prayer & positive thoughts are amazing!
