UV skull
I was having fun with my UV paints. What do you think?
Here is how it looked in normal light.

Re: UV skull
I think it looks great but I'm most jealous of the color of your eyes - they look very green.

Re: UV skull
I used white and tried to mix in some blue, but could see no difference, except in normal light.
Now I will try to see if I can remove the contacts again, one don't want to leave!

Re: UV skull
That is so cool. I love the skull. I would think that would be very difficult because you can't exactly see the white uv paint.
Re: UV skull
Awesome Lone!
Did you have to paint it with the uv light on so you could see what you were doing?
I'm jealous you can get those things in and out of your eyes... my eyes just won't have it!

Lone that looks so cool! Was it hard to paint & see what you were doing?
I'd have to get bifocal, prescription UV contacts

Re: UV skull
I painted it with the UV light on, else it would have been impossible to see what I was doing. The only time I don't have the light on the whole time, is when doing a bodypaint and there is a lot of the same shapes, like:
Personally I don't mind painting in only UV light, but a lot of people seems to have trouble being in it for a longer time.
If it wasn't because it was so much trouble setting the entire thing up - including waiting for it to be dark enough, I think I would do more of this. I really like the effect.
PS: for materials I used:
DFX white, Wolfe (looks the same as DFX) yellow, orange, magenta, green (and a bit of blue) applied with one #8 round sable, just rinsed between colours and around 10 q-tips/cotton buds.
