open-cell vs. close-cell foam applicators (smoothie blenders)
Hi, question - I am liking the disposable smoothie blenders I have bought at SF - I clean them and reuse, of course. I was looking for a better source (only partially happy with SF!). I found these two (thanks Shannon). But I am wondering about their main difference: close-cell vs. open-cell foam. I am *assuming* that the open cell would hold more paint - good (could load up a LOT for a great base) and bad (would waste a lot of paint if not reusing for that gig). Does anybody have an opinion or has tried these?
Thanks,
Barbie

TBH it really won't make that much difference. The open cell will hold slightly more water but that's it. It doesn't load up all that much more colour than a comparable sized sponge of the other sort.
