New Colors for Fall!

Hiya,

Right now I am still searching for the perfect, permanent look for the forum. In the mean time I am playing around with some holiday ones. I hope everyone will be ok with this. I think changing the look is a bit fun.

I find this colour combo really REALLY hard to look at... I can't distinguish the type from the background...

Really? It really pops from my machine. I guess it will be different for all. I will keep trying.

It looks great to me! Shannon, is the type not appearing on a white background for you? There is some red and orange text at the top of the page that blends in a bit too much, but otherwise I like it.

I find the colours blur out for me... the tan text on white is not coming into focus easily. Not enough contrast I think. And the coloured text on the mustardy colour is completely illegible for me.

Yes. The line under the logo is unreadable. I am trying to figure out how to make this white. Oh well. Christmas is coming soon!

Uhm...I can barely stand to look at my screen with this color. Sorry..it's making my eyes hurt!

The white isn't popping enough and the red is blending in a bit...is there a way for me to set my own preferences? Sorry to be a pain...but this really is making my eyes blur on me.

I think black would pop more against the mustardy color...and a 'cool' color would stand out against the warm mustardy background...

Still fall looking...but the white and black are just blending in. There are some words I can't even read!

All jokes aside, I do really appreciate the feedback. All is change is fine during the holidays, but I do want to find a look that will stick with the forum most of the time. I know I am creating a "brand" in some ways.

I can hardly read the background.....I thought My computer was dying, I called my son to come and have a look see, and then I saw this thread.....He will be relieved as am I.

I like the idea of new colors, just not these colors.

LOVE this new background/colour scheme!!! The greys with white and black text is now legible... and the accent colours and decoration are nice and bright!!

WOW....much nicer! I can read everything!! Easy on the eyes and the side accents are beautiful! Great!
