Website review
Hello, I did this before and going to try this again.... Let me vent first.....
I am starting to feel as websites don't matter as much as they use too... I feel like it is more about facebook than websites... Also, I feel like you can't really type quality content without overusing keywords. Lastly, I feel like people just care about 2 things, prices and viewing your work.... So, is an indepth website actually worth it?
my website is www.enchantedfacesbydalton.com
I know some of you have viewed it, sorry again for my reaction before. All feedback is wanted

Re: Website review
Also, I was talking to another face painter and I somewhat agree with what she said. She said, all people care about is rates, pictures, and contact. So, she said she is keeping her site simple.. My problem with that is, if you were to keep your site that simple, your site most likely would struggle ranking on google search engine.... What are your thoughts of making a site, very basic with Rates, contact, and pictures
Re: Website review
your homepage already has the essentials you mentioned,
i.e. contact info & photos/gallery at top and middle of home page, short bio at the bottom, you could add rates above the bio. then you have tabs or links to other services, in depth info, etc.
i love your colored graphic and i like the overall look of your homepage, including the horizontal photo scroll, rather than having to scroll way down the page.
you have some nice work on your facebook and instagram pages, maybe add some of them to your website?
might want to have a fresh pair of eyes proof read your site, in the FAQ section i saw one typo, tr-state should be tri-state..

Re: Website review
thanks! What do you think about the comic sans font? do you think it is to childish? I know someone in here didnt like it before.
Re: Website review
You are mostly right i think. I'm still looking for someone to overhaul my website. Make it more simple, i got too much content. I want to make it more basic then it is.
Your website looks much better then last time i saw it, cleaner i think. I don't have too much time for in depth review so i pretended like i was looking at it like a rushed mom needing to get the info i needed fast.
"Ok i need a face painter, this woman got pictures? Great! Good work? yes. Prices? Oh good there's the rates button *click*.... hmmm tiny font... words, not reading that, skip... still looking for numbers.... rates, rates... where are they? Oh there they are, pretty tiny... meh ok."
So yeah, i would make your rates easier to find, larger, and upfront, perhaps at the top of each package section. That's about it.

Re: Website review
Would you put the rates on a seperate page? Keep them on the same page, but keep the services with rates below button? or keep everything the same and enlarge the font.
Thanks !
Thanks !
Re: Website review
Keep them on the same page but make them front and center. Larger font at the top of each package you have.
P.s. viewing in Google Chrome

Re: Website review
Your website looking good. My suggestion is, make your website more interesting and informative by adding some articles or video content.
A little story about my experience, I've made a website for digital printing business that I have. There are some problems and shortcomings, but after that, I was sharing with my friends and finally my problem is resolved
