Hiya from Maryland!
Hi folks, I've been stalking the forum for a while, trying to soak up what information I can from your experience
Currently most of my face painting is done for my local rescue squad fundraising organization, I donate my time and the money I earn goes to supporting the EMTs with their equipment and various needs.
As I've noticed most people do, I started out with the really crappy hobby face paint that was gloppy and just TERRIBLE, but I needed something in a hurry (as with lots of artistic people, this whole venture started with a "hey, we need another face painter, YOU'RE good at drawing!" volunTOLD sort of deal), and I quickly tossed all of that nonsense into the trash after that single event.
From there I've moved on to Snaz for my bases since I have a pallet of it to use up while I save my money for either a full set of Kryvaline or DFX, with my Paradise basic palette for my linework. I also have a fazmataz rainbow cake and a few assorted splitcakes from TAG, kryvaline, and DFX that I'm playing with.
Any advice is welcome, and if anyone else is located south of DC, maybe we could swap techniques sometime!

Welcome to FPF. Hope you find some other FP'ers in your area. Learning from each other is great. Passing jobs back & forth is too.
