Hiya, from SLC!
Hi all! I'm Cherry and I'm new to posting on the forum. I've been lurking for a while, and finally decided it would behoove me to join as a member. I am a freelance game-designer/make-up artist/face and body painter/jack of most trades, with a BS in Game Design and Development. I also attended MUD (Make-up Designory) in Burbank, CA and went through the Master Make-up Artistry Program and Hairstyling. At the time, I thought my career would be in film and television, and it was for a while, but after leaving Los Angeles, I decided to pursue my passion for game design instead.
I've spent the better part of the past year living abroad as a visitor, in the UK, with my now husband, and have recently moved back to the states. As I was unable to work a "real job", on a visitor’s visa, I got a job at nightclub, painting faces for cash. I started to love it, but hated the way it was being run (Snazaroo and black eyeliners?!? :/ I couldn't even find 99% Iso or any % rubbing alcohol in the UK.), so decided to branch off on my own.
Now, I'm back in the states and I work in an amusement park for an art vendor, doing airbrush and henna tattoos, as well as face painting. I'm currently in the process of starting my own business and am so happy to be nearby some fabulous artists. Denise Cold, I've been loving your videos since I started painting in England! I love and adore all things Cameleon and recently purchased a full kit of them. I'm also really wordy... Greetings and apologies. x
