There is a rose but it's embarrassing. My roses need a lot of work and probably even more memorization. I grow the darn things but I haven't a clue what they look like apparently.

It's a decent rose. Might have skipped the black linework as it doesn't mesh well with the rest of the butterfly. But it's a good rose. Smile

It's purple linework... the same as on the butterfly lol. I really think I was just sick of this painting by that point. You guys know it takes quite a while the first time you lay down a design. Especially if you haven't sketched it out first. This took me a good 1/2 hour because I just didn't really know where to go next.

outlined teardrops is a trick i didn't know, which is why i've never tried those butterflies with all the inner lines. now i have something to practice..

i like your rose, not particularly a fan of the one-stroke "tole painting" kind.
