Hello from S. Indiana

Hello, everyone!

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I'm Ashlie from S. Indiana, a SAHM of two.

I must first admit to being a "lurker" as I've been reading here for a few weeks now and soaking up as much information and knowledge as possible. I've been trying to decide which paints to start out with and what fun extras I might like to try as well and believe I've finally come a conclusion for my first purchases. (Literally placing my order tonight and SOOOO stinkin' excited!)

This endeavor will be just for fun for now as I have so much to learn and just want to have a wonderful time being creative and utilizing my two gorgeous and, currently willing, canvases.

I appreciate so much the words of wisdom, tips and tricks that I've read thus far and I'm excited to continue learning and getting to know all of you awesome artists. Also, I'm definitely planning on participating on some of the TAG You're It threads. They look like so much fun!

hi and welcome, ash_a, looking forward to seeing some of your work. since i joined last fall, reading and chatting on the forum has motivated me to practice more, which is making me get better at techniques and designs.
