Greetings from Indiana
Greeting everyone!
I'm just getting started. When I was a teen(long time ago) I took a 3 day workshop at a clown school. After graduating, I became a professional camp counselor for 10 years and worked in daycare for 3 years till my son got ill. Now I'm a stay at home mom homeschooling my kids. Over all, I'm a Jane of all trades, master of none.
I'm looking at using the face painting as part of our nonprofit that benefits Cancer Kids and their family's. We have care baskets for the parents of newly diagnosed cancer kids and a toy drive for our local hospital's Child Life program every Mothers Day.
As of right now, I'm still in the basics. I have painted faces at 2 of my friends birthday party's. I am currently using the snazaroo 18 color pallet wheel plus some rainbow cakes I made from another snazaroo kit. I look forward to expanding with other brands, and been spending to much time looking at the forum shop and sillyfarm.

Hi Katrina and welcome!
Since you are just getting started in face painting, I especially want to invite you to the "New to Face Painting" section. Lots of us new people are there and we have challenges at the newbie level and "show and tell" where you can post whatever you feel liking painting. It's very relaxed and fun...we call it the little lounge down the hall from the pros There is sooo much to learn from the pros in the other sections (and you can post there too of course.)
Is your little boy any better now? It is sweet of you to have your goal to incorporate your face painting for children with cancer.
