Hello from South Jersey!
Hello everyone! I have been quietly stalking this forum for almost a year now and finally took the plunge and made an account.
I started face painting as something to do a couple of years ago. I have always been an artsy person; loving to draw but never got the passion for canvas painting. I love acting as well and started dabbling in doing costume characters for parties. I was looking for a fun activity for the kids and bought myself the Klutz/Wolf face painting book and starter paints. The love grew from there.
I have done 2-3 parties stretched out over 3 years I guess but am finally looking at doing this more professionally. You don't know how much this page has helped me and how great everyone seems to be on hear. I look forward to chatting with you all and sharing our love of face painting!

Dear melissah1982:
Welcome to The Forum!
Please jump in and join us in a game of Face Paint Tag in the thread "Tag You Are It". We get all kinds of weird requests on the spot when we are working. This is to help us flex our painty muscles.
There is a place to post and share your work with a kind, warm, non-judgemental audience in the thread "Show and Tell".
Happy Painting!

welcome, melissah, that was a good decision to start with the klutz pkg with the wolfe pallette, that is one of the best brands to get good results with.

Re: Hello from South Jersey!
Welcome Melissah! I live in Ohio now, but moved here from S. Jersey....I lived in Maple Shade (Burlington Co), then bought a house in Sewell (Washington twp, Gloucester co.) and my husbands whole family is still in Jersey (giving us reason to return as often as possible) they're all the way down in Cumberland Co.
Welcome, can't wait to see some of your work!

Re: Hello from South Jersey!
Thanks everyone!
I don't know if that klutz pack was a good thing or a bad thing because now I am so spoiled I don't want any paint but wolf! And before I knew about this site and other face painting shops, when I was running out of one set, I bought a whole other book! just for the paints! lol. Just now I actually re-potted them into little containers so they were all together.
I did buy some refill Paradise paints because I needed more yellow and thought it was cheaper to try the little ones. They are good too.
tina, I know all those places, lol. I work in Moorestown and live in Mount Ephraim. So good to see other Jersey Girls here
