how much to donate

Hi, I am going to be at a festival in 2 weeks for 2 days, the space and electricity is free all they are asking is for a small donation from what I make. It is PPF event so what percentage should I give them?

10% to 30% depending on how well you do an how generous you feel, do not count your tips into the equation but that's your call.

For table fees and space rentals I do 10% of what i make not going over the fee and not including tips. I make about $100/hr at a busy gig (by myself) or more so that's $10 out of every $100 i make, for say a a 5 hr gig that's $50 right there for them. More then reasonable I think since we are providing an entertainment for their event, and have to work our butts off to make the money instead of being paid by the venue.

ok thanks, I will be selling my crafts too, but my big draw of coarse is face painting and temporary airbrush tattoos. I will be the only face painter and since the space and everything else is free it is mostly profit. I just did not want to cheat them or myself.
