It makes me feel excited- well, Excited and scared!

OK so I told Rhonda a while ago, but I have to share... now that I signed the contract...

In October, after 22 years at Disney, the last 10 of it pretty miserable, I am quitting my job and opening a physical store in the International Drive tourist area of Orlando! I'll be doing body paint art there (Obviously not FULL paints nor anything that isn't G rated), selling canvases of body paint art, as well as showcasing other kinds of art that I do. (Masks, Artisan Soap, etc)

On a planet filled with people who are unhappily NOT doing it, you ARE doing it. There is nothing foolish in that at all. P.S. I did the same thing when I stopped accepting new work in my other field, and began to replace it with face painting gigs. Hard work. ) Happiness. )

One more day left for fundraising! We didn't reach our goal but made it over a 3rd the way there.... But, we're set to open october 16th!

Yes... it WAS! Grumble Grumble.... The entire mall has delayed opening for one month! We now open the week before thanksgiving. Which does give me more time to prepare but.... WHAT a let-down!
