I ordered 3 at Costco and I wasn't happy with the results. the were very "droopy" They said that is normal, yet when I asked you guys....that isn't what you guys say so, I am looking for some advice....anyone know anything about Mesh banners for the top of tents? They said that it is better than wind slits for windy areas

Anyone want to give me a direction to go for a decent banner. I would like it to last for several years

Its a hanging banner. Several painters told me they got theirs at Vistaprint.

I get mine from eSigns.com - LOVE them, better quality imo than VistaPrint, good deals (search for promo codes) and great customer service (had an issue, they replaced it free of charge with overnight turn). Good folks! Smile

Do you gals have the mesh type or solid vinyl? I have only ever ordered solid and am curious about the mesh.

Staley, I too am curious. The sales clerk told me that the air slits (the cut out half circles) are kind of a beginning tear so they only sell Mesh. now this is a vinyl type of fabric with a large woven with holes in the weave. tiny tiny holes. She said the difference is the vinyl is crisp letters where the mesh isn't as crisp. You can see from a distance and you can't tell the difference but it is made for windy areas. Now during the sunlight you can at times see the light shining thru. I need to know if this would be a good use for face painters.

OMG I got the samples.....like NEVER would I buy a mesh. There are so many holes, we held the sample up to the window....you could see the wording on the sample cuz of all the holes. Now they have very cool fabric elastic satin....That would be beautiful if you have banners around the legs to hang for inside the tent.

I am ordering a vinyl just writing on it....nobody seems to do the air cuts in them....do they hold up to strong winds? We will attach PVC pipes to the legs and drill a hole at the other end that will be just enough to screw in an eyelet then that is where we will attach the banner to with bungees. What would happen if we don't do air cuts in them ( half circles cut to break the wind)
