Stick on Flowers Empty Stick on Flowers

I've been seeing these on some designs on pinterest inspiration boards. Sort of like gems in a way. I've really been wanting to add some to my kit.

I really like the idea and wonder if anyone else has a few in their kit and where you would find some good ones? I heard of a brand called 'Baby Gems Flowers from Jolee's boutique' is pretty good, and you can usually find them at Michaels, so i'm going to check those out.  Any tips and tricks, or pit falls to avoid when shopping around for stick on flowers, like certain types that wouldn't hold glue etc? If you have them in your kit, what brand are they, or where do you get yours?

Thank you!

I use these occasionally when I can find them on sale. You can never seem to find the right kind when you really want them so I always stock up when I find them. They really seem to add a lot of visual value to designs for little cost. It almost seems like cheating though because I spent so much time learning how to paint those darn flowers just the right way! But you have to keep up with demand, so if that's what the public wants, that's what they'll get.
Some work better than others. I find you have to get the gluey backs "untacky" by touching the stickers a few times or rubbing it on a cloth before applying the gem glue, it helps keep them from falling off. Others work better by removing the sticker entirely and gluing directly onto the back of the flower. It depends on how the flower is made. Try a few on yourself to see what works best for you.

Made this design a year ago, using little paper roses. found them at a dollar store in the craft section!
They're not self adhesive, so I use body glue to hold them. Works fine!

I buy those in Michaels, yes, they are from Jolees Boutique.
They stick really good on their own on top of paint.

I also recently bought paper roses, but haven't use those yet. I bought them in Michaels, this is how they look:

Michaels has the felt ones that are in the first pic right now - you get like 20 in a bag for $1. - it’s their brand and they are not adhesive but stick fine with a little body glue. they also have the roses and other paper flowers (also their brand) for $1. but you get less. I think the roses, you get 8 and the other flowers like 12.

They have those right now for $1.00 in the bargain bins - with many other styles. So if anyone lives by a Michaels, it may be worth the trip.
