CRAYON LIPSTICK!!!!!!!!!!

I am so amazed about this video teaching making lipstick from crayons, they said is safe because again is "non toxic"and they use the same wax is in real lipstick.

People are stupid. Honestly, Crayola will tell you NOT to do that if you ask them. The pigments are not cosmetic pigments.

I asked the same question on facebook today. Is it safe?
Decided I'm not going to do that.
Would love to find an applegreen lipstick though, I don't like the feeling of facepaint on my lips!

We [collectively] spend so much time and effort educating our clients why we're worth the cost because we're using makeup and not craft paint & craft products.

Here is a palette which contains both blue and yellow lipsticks (mixed = green). It's $11 USD. You can also order cosmetic grade green pigments from this company to mix with clear lipgloss if you wish.

I use Mehron Lipstick - Green and Black for tiger faces, I blended with lipgloss to make it softer to apply with a q-tip, I bougth the coastalscents palette but the amount of product is so small, and then antoher bulky thing to carry around in your kit.
I use a lot of lipstick, I can get it on amazon, sometimes I use eyeshadow on my lips but I find that it burns sometimes so I don't know if you can mix the mica powders with lipgloss.

Lizzie, now in this carnival time you can find any kind of lipstick on the stores that sell costumes, do you have TEDI there? is a Euro store in Germany, I use to buy all the lipstick, hair spray color in there.

I'll go and have a look, if I can find them in a carnavalstore.

That is messed up!!!! I know i'd have an allergic reaction to that. Can't believe she's telling people it's safe. Where do people get the idea that 'non-toxic' means safe for skin? It baffles me.

And still several dozen people who read these posts (as one can w/o being a member and then there are the lurkers) will go do this.

I have that coastal scents palette and love it. Takes seconds to whip out, grab a qtip and apply.
As colors have been running out, I have been refilling with actual lipsticks and glosses. Will likely have to make my own blue though, using their mica powders.
Why do little girls love having blue lipstick? Seriously, it is picked almost as often as pink!

I will never use crayons on skin, ever!
