I haven't ordered off of it yet, but I plan to do so. I just wanted to share because I know a few of you were looking.

Re: Colored lipstick
Nice colours! I wish they'd show what it looks like on the lips though. I wouldn't want to spend 12 bucks a pop for something too translucent. Let us know what they're like, if you order them!
Re: Colored lipstick
I'm still poking around for some coloured lipstick, just found this one too:
http://www.amazon.com/BH-Cosmetics-Color-Lip-Palette/dp/B002UILQBM/ref=sr_1_14?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1325081557&sr=1-14
66 colours for only $18 bucks, AND they're already potted so no fuss with lipstick tubes.

Okay, ONE MORE comment and I'll stop taking over your thread.
I found a review for the BH 66 palette I found above, and it sounds like it's a winner. It has some nice pigmented, opaque blues and opaque golds too. Plus tons of pinks and reds.

I'll scurry off now...
Re: Colored lipstick
perfectlypaintedfaces, my only concern on the BH66 is she says they are very pigmented but also they are lip glosses. I want to use the lipsticks on some of the male faces and the stickiness of lip gloss might be a turn off to them. My own use I am not fond of the feel of gloss on, yet never leave the house with out lipstick.
If the public only knew the time and research we put in and the effort to always be moving ahead, another idea, another brush, another way to pack lighter and yet produce more, etc...............................

Yeah, it is quite impressive how much time we put into researching these things...
That's true, I didn't even think of using them on males. It does say on the website that some are glossy and some are matte, but I assume the matte ones must have a little shimmer/gloss to them as well. The only boy face I can think of with lip colour is a tiger though, and I'd most likely just stick to black paint for that. I was just thinking mostly of feminine faces, like butterflies and swirly designs that might benefit from a nice lip colour.
Re: Colored lipstick
Oh I am going to order, I just have to wait a bit until hubs settles from ordering my last bit of paint. I found this http://www.makeup4play.com/2011/12/secret-kisses-electricity-and-18-karat.html

Re: Colored lipstick
I think maybelline and other 'cheapie' cosmetic companies also produce blues and fun colours, if that's what you're looking for?
I know I've seen them in walmart here

Re: Colored lipstick
I wasn't thinking so much the gloss look as the sticky feel many glosses have as opposed to a lipstick. There are Mood Lipsticks that have been around for a million years (my age) often have an aloe vera base that makes the lips feel moisture and lasts through ice cream and heat...lasts all day. Soon as I find time I'll research, came in blue, pink, purple, green...but then turned color on the lips according to body heat I believe. Much like they do with clothing and I've seen nail polish. These usually came in a set and were very inexpensive.
I mush mine down in a pot and use a Qtip.
Boys monster faces could be kicked up a notch with the lipstick AS LONG AS YOU Don't tell it is lipstick!!!
When working where there is cotton candy, ice cream and such a lipstick holds up better....really dislike seeing a child's teeth with paint in them from eating after being painted.
Tried many black lipsticks but have a problem finding one that goes on smoothly, really want a good black for my dogs especially.

Found them on Amazon...I've not used the peal,, but certainly going to order it.
Used the ones with flowers all over the containers and they wear great. But these pearls sound like the brown is really brown. Kids always think it is MAGIC when shown the purple being put on their lips and then looking in the mirror and seeing it turn pink. Use to be corals available but i got lazy and was only using pinks. You've inspired me to go back to a range of colors.
Still looking for help with a good black.
As far as the lipstick pallets before purchasing on line try checking Marshalls,
Walmart, Target...always lipstick gift sets closed out after Christmas.

Re: Colored lipstick
Don't buy mood lipstick, it always turn reddish, I like the idea of secret kisses but quiet expensive, the palette sounds good, but it looks like every color will last 3 applications, I have been hunting for blue/ green at every store and they don't carry them, I even went to party city, with no luck. I wasted $5 bucks buying 2 mood lipstick that never look green or blue but the ugly kind a stein red.
