PLs help critique these 2 designs
I'm brand new to facepainting . I have been doing creative birthday parties for 10 years and wanted to offer something extra. It's a fun change for me but it'll be a while before I'm good enough to go out there :-)
However I have volunteered my services to a local event for children and I will be doing these two little fellows as cheek art. They are very traditional characters so I don't want to change them but I haven't found any samples out there for face painting..so these are my trials and would love to get some critique on how to improve them.

Re: PLs help critique these 2 designs
they look fine. hope the kids sit still for the line work.
how long do these take you?
I limit all cheek art to 2 minutes max, and no more than 4 brushes=two colors, one black, one white.
if you can do these quick, they are great.

I can't see it either :-) ... apparently I'm not allowed to post links for 7 days as a new member. So that might be the reason...Kammy wrote:I...can't see any images!
Although it seems like someone else did see them?! ...
don't know how to fix this ....

Re: PLs help critique these 2 designs
Thank you..I don't know how long it took..I'm going to practise more to get quicker though. I've just ordered some new brushes that will hopefully improve on time and look as well.nikkili26 wrote:they look fine. hope the kids sit still for the line work.

I can't really do this in 2 colors as they are such traditional characters , they are called " Sinterklaas en Zwarte Piet" , if you google for images you will see what I mean.
I have to do 80 kids in 3 hours... (my very first event ever..lol!!)

Kammy and lindaco, right click on the icon for the picture and open in new tab. I am thinking you hosted it as a URL so it has it's own page rather than showing up on here as a pic
Re: PLs help critique these 2 designs
That's what I meant, Debbie - there's no icon to right click on.

It's a Holiday for children as the good Saint Nick ( Sint Niklaas) brings them goodies.
Santa Claus found his origins there !!
We celebrate his birthday on Dec 6th..

Re: PLs help critique these 2 designs
Lindaco: Ohhh - I recognised Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet straight away! I'm in Scotland, but have many friends in Holland and know the traditions. Love your cute little cheek-art renditions of the characters!
Debbie: Thank you for posting those. I definitely still see no tiny (or otherwise!) blue squares, and I usually don't have any issues seeing images or links on the forums - I've been here a while. It was nice to see what everyone was going on about.
Kammy x
