R.I.P. Brian
Not a topic here yet..
But I think we have to remember him, be gratefull that he was born and the inspiration he gave to (almost) everyone of us!
Brian, rest in peace and thank you for having you share your talent to us!
To Nick, the rest of his family, his friends, and the people that have known him in person... all the best!

Re: R.I.P. Brian
Ahhh, but I don't really believe Brian Wolfe is resting.... he is kicking it up and lighting up the other side with his smile and making the entire Universe smile with him!
Re: R.I.P. Brian
I'm mourning for Nick too. They had such a great relationship. I don't think any of us will have such a soul connection as they had. They were twins, brothers, friends and also worked and played together. I love to watch them on FABAtv (and the one class I got to be with them in Vegas) because they'd finish each others thoughts and had raport and a sort of mind meld that you only get with a true kindred spirit. And the crazy stuff they would come up with for Halloween and conventions! They'd plan that stuff for months and months....just for fun. Living life to the fullest.
Re: R.I.P. Brian
RIP Brian...
My heart goes out to his family too.
The sense of helplessness....hoping that this is not true. Hoping that this is just a dream.
Wishing them all the strength to face these tough times.

It makes me so sad....
I feel for his daughter, his wife, his brother, all the beloved ones who'll have to let go now.

Pilareta.... Can I share that on facebook? Naturally, I will mention you as the artist.... It's just perfect.
Re: R.I.P. Brian
Rhonda, OF COURSE YOU CAN!!! And I feel really flattered that you like it! I thought about painting only the black ribbon but I didn't want to alarm my family/friends. So I added that colorful brush, because Brian always was surrounded by colours...

Re: R.I.P. Brian
Even while going through all this, he and his family kept shining their light-filled spirits. I met Brian and Nick once, at the Connecticut convention the winter before he was diagnosed. I took their private class the day before the convention started and we were six students in a room with them. It was wonderful, and one of the best things I remember them saying is that the face painting was just a hook for being able to go all over and teach love (paraphrasing here). Isn't everything, after all, just an opportunity to teach and do and be love. Brian was. Nick is. We all can be. That's his legacy.
At the end of the class, Brian painted some of us, and I volunteered. It was the first time I've ever had my face painted! He did a blue squid design and I have a terrific picture of us afterward, mugging for the camera.
There were also two twin boys at that convention, aged 12, who were the kids of one of the painters. As a surprise and treat, their mom had brought them, and they idolized the Wolfe brothers. I took some photos of their time getting painted, and the results. What design did the Wolfe brothers paint on the twin boys? Wolves, of course! I am sure that that memory will be with them forever.
Sending love to all his family and friends, and to all of us. That's what it's all about, every single day we are here.
