How is Brian Wolfe doing?

I've been off the site for a while - very busy here. I've been wondering and wondering about Brian, and how he is doing? Does anyone know?

Pet scan looks great! It's almost all gone! Lungs and lymph nodes are clear and there is just a bit left on my liver and pancreas. Thanks to the all in all!!

Wow - that is SO fantastic!!! (I don't use Facebook, so I wasn't aware it was on there. But of course it was - isn't everything! )

That's amazing news! Pancreatic cancer is usually such a dismal diagnosis, survival-wise that it's particularly great to hear it's responding so well to the treatment.

Hope he continues to improve, and lives a long and healthy life once this is all over.

it's been a while since that update, so I'm hoping that things are still going well for him.

Wow, I hope things continue to improve for Brian. My aunt died not too long ago from pancreatic cancer. I never knew how difficult it is to eradicate.

Brian just posted on FB his markers turned down from 30.000 to 300 and he heard the remission word for the first time from his doctors!!!

That's AMAZING! I'm just thrilled that he's doing so well. "Remission" must be the most beautiful word in the world to him and his family right now.

unbelievable... seriously.

Even when the "odds" are "against" things, it's good (no ... it's GREAT) to remember that each of us is an individual, not an "odd" (though some of us surely are ... odd <<-- that would be me here).

People CAN overcome tough things. It DOES happen. I am very very VERY happy for Brian. He is a wonderful guy.

Tumor count is down to 300 from 30,000! 1st time we have heard the word remission from a doctor. Meeting with oncological surgeon soon. Looks like my status posts may return to facepainting classes real soon.

I saw that this morning and did the happy dance round the room. We have lost someone to pancreatic cancer too and know what a tough disease it is.

I saw that as well this afternoon, such awesome news!!
