Let's support Brian Wolfe
Wow! Wolfe Brothers paints are one of my favorite paint to use. Just heard this morning that Brian Wolfe has been diagnose with Pancreatic Cancer. For the ones who don't know they are raising some funds on this link. Lets help one of our favorite artist with is fight for life. I'm very dear to cancer people as I lost 2 family members in recent years and lost a very good friend of mine a few months ago to cancer. My heart goes to his family and friends.

Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
I saw that on facebook today too and was about to post something if no one else had. I don't have much to donate, but every little bit helps.
Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
Every little bit really DOES help, especially if you think of the size of the face painting community and how it can add up if everyone gives as they can. Brian is a wonderful person and very giving. Going onto that site and donating and posting a supportive message can be a huge boost when facing something like this. Brian's been a very upbeat and positive force for so many people. Let's all love him back!

Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
I just supported them. Prayers are great, and cash will help them pay the bills as he cannot work during treatment. This is an ultimate example of paying it forward - his family has done unbelievably much for the face and body art community - we need to be there for him, now.

Who is Jessica Van Huesen? Anyone know why I am paying her and not Brian directly?

Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
I don't think Sillyfarm would post something like that themselves if it wouldn't be credible but I'm curious to know as well.
Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
According to the page Jessica is his sister-in-law and the page is done with his and his wife's knowledge. The hosting they are using, gofundme.com is legit.

I already donated and was wondering the same thing. Good to know. I guess we should actually READ the site. lolJenlarouge wrote:According to the page Jessica is his sister-in-law and the page is done with his and his wife's knowledge. The hosting they are using, gofundme.com is legit.
Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
This is fantastic - everyone has nearly doubled the donated total from when I looked yesterday. This community is truly fantastic!
Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
FYI - If you prefer to donate to Brian Wolfe's fund by paypal or if you are uncomfortable sending through GoFundMe.com (under the name Jessica Van Heusen - his sister-in-law), then you can PayPal a donation to the email address: brian@eviltwinfx.com
They had to remove this information from the GoFundMe site because of their rules.

Re: Let's support Brian Wolfe
Thanks for the info. I donated through GoFundMe since I already had a WePay account, but I'd have rathered to have been able to go through Paypal...no biggie though.
I just wish there was a a way to know how close they are to their goal with the combined accounts. I guess I'll just have to keep praying that Brian and his family get all that they need...
