Excited and nervous!

Hi,
I'm Sonya I'm from Maine a mom and I am new to this forum, I have been painting irregularly for about a year and I am ready to get more serious. I just placed my first order for "real paints" DFX mini 12 color palette and some Starblends. I'm super excited to play with more professional paints. The name that I am thinking of using is Altered Egos but I am nervous about the images that name brings up. I was thinking about it because I don't want it to have anything to do with being a mom, then I joked that I want this to be my mild mannered alter ego rater than super mom all the time. I noticed that there is a new bees thread but I have no clue how to find it. Would someone mind linking to it for me? Excited to be learning with and from such amazing talent.

There is a "Frequently Asked Questions" area. You can peruse lines of thoughts about what is in our kits (lots of different brands, because we are all different types of painters), "How did you do that?" to find out step by step instructions on different techniques.

There is a thread called "Show and Tell" where newbies can post and share their newest work in a kind, caring, non-judgemental warm room. We are playing Face Paint Tag in "Tag! You're it!"

I cannot answer your question regarding "Altered Egos" as I listened to the wise words of Shannon Fennell, which was, "Why not use your own name?" . I followed her advice. I admire the clever, adorable, cute, brilliant names that the Forum members come up with. I am not that clever, adorable, cute, or brilliant.
