What happened to all those fancy gem clusters?

I use the self-stick gems we've all seen at Michael's, and some of them come in nice pre-arranged designs, but I have yet to locate an American source for those really big, fancy clusters that look so fantastic as mask and crown focal points. I thought some of our FP suppliers were going to try to start carrying those, but here it is a year or two after they hit the scene and still nothing. Can't even find them on ebay. Frustrating - was there a concern about the glue safety and so they just fell off the radar?

I tracked down the factory that makes the things (China, of course) and naturally can't get them unless I order 5000 sheets, a minimum order of $1250. Curses!

This seller has some pretty ones, I would search ebay.

They are calling some of them by "diamante"...there are a few pages of them here
