Where can I find a page to print out that the paints that we use are FDA approved? That way I can have this available if any customers request the information. Thank you

Re: FDA approved
The majority of the paints we use are FDA compliant - not FDA approved. This means the ingredients are compliant with the standards set forth by the FDA for the makeup industry.
Try typing in FDA in the search bar above and to the left and see what threads come up.

Re: FDA approved
Try googling the brand name of paint and then MSDS (Material Safety and Data Sheets).

Re: FDA approved
You can't. Only that they use FDA approved ingrediants. The FDA does not approve products. Only ingrediants.
Basically they have two lists. An approved list and a forbidden list. Somethings are not on either list.
And of course you must USE them in a compliant fashion. Ie- no red, orange, purple near eyes no Blue, green, purple near mouth.

Yep... click on the link in my signature and then select the button for the MSDS. I have most brands linked... I try to keep up with new brands as they pop up.
And... MSDS are supposed to be updated every three years by the manufacturers - I post the info I have so some may be a bit older than that but we aren't in a regulated industry so it isn't an issue.

I've seen this mentioned before (on my Snaz products as they maintain their products are safe for use anywhere on the face) and I'm a bit concerned. How careful do I have to be with placement? Will the products I ordered explain any restrictions on the packaging? Is it safer to stick with Snazz?
Thanks, everyone... This forum is an absolutely invaluable resource!

Read the labeling and follow instructions. Otherwise you could void your insurance.

I just ordered some DFX and Paradise palettes. Since I see them in heavy rotation on the boards here, I've got high hopes they're on the safer side. Thanks for the input Shannon. Either way, I think I need to do some more research.

Re: FDA approved
You only need contact the manufacturer of the brand(s) you use for MSDS. And most distributors will supply you with MSDS or a link the the manufacturer.
