FDA approved proof
Has anyone ever been asked to prove that their supplies are FDA approved. I am doing an event that asked for me to prove it, I bought my supplies from Amerikan Body Art which does have a page that list MSDS ingredients. Is this good enough?

Re: FDA approved proof
Dear VeronicaAM:
The MSDS page should state that the ingredients are FDA compliant.
Where are you from?
I am so thrilled to hear that our clients are getting more educated regarding that paint we put on our tender young children's skin and faces.
Happy Painting!

OK, FDA compliant. I seen some places say FDA apporved so I didn't know the proper wording. Thank you. I'm new to all this still. I am located in San Jose, California. I will be a vendor at a car show in Hollister, CA

Re: FDA approved proof
The proper term is compliant. The FDA does not review or approve "products". It makes Two lists. One list has approved ingrediants, Another list has banned ingrediants. There are many potential ingrediants on neither list.
So... if a product has only ingrediants that are on the approved list, or Neither list- AND NONE of the ingrediants on the banned list- then it is compliant. This assumes that YOU use it correctly (Ie no red near eyes- No blue near mouth UV colors on hair only- etc)
