Re: Post Away!
Okay when I looked a while ago and there were no entries I thought, I'm TOTALLY going to do something for this one!!! Then did some painting and didn't get around to uploading. Now see so many amazing entries I darn near talked myself out of joining in, but now I am talking myself back into it. My linework may not compete with some, but keep in mind I'm only in my 2nd year (). I love all of the entries so far, I hope even with my precision maybe not being as spot on, you will see the character and like the idea! () (oh and bonus props to Margie Kanter for inventing nose painting!)
My goal as I painted this was to come up with something 'board friendly' and relatively fast/easy so that hopefully I can actually use it at events and St. Pattys parties, and of course, sharing it here, hoping some of you can too!!! If you do, please feel free to share back with me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/mystical.rainbow.creations
(deep breath) okay so here goes:
First Step: Using One Stroke technique (rainbow cake and 3/4 inch flat brush), outline leprechaun body (on nose), hat, arms, and legs using a green cake....create rainbow across the forehead with your favorite rainbow one stroke...
Next: Use orange to fill in beard and hair.
Create details using black for outlines, and white for eyes/teeth...
Finally: Add more details and outlines, such as starbursts and dots on rainbow, teardrops near eyes, orange or red lips and glitter (for a girl), etc () Have fun!!!
HAPPY ST.PATRICK's DAY!!!
(exhales!!) Thanks and Good Luck to ALL !!! <3

Re: Post Away!
Okay, got out of my own way and came back for a round 2 (). What's St. Patrick's Day without gold, rainbows, and shamrocks??...Here goes my blingy st.pats mask:
1) Create golden base (used Brilliant Bling cake)
2) Add rainbow accents to forehead and sides of mask using rainbow one stroke cake and 3/4 brush
3) Add shamrocks, white flowers, and flower petals to center and each side
4) Add white teardrops, starbursts, swirls and dots to shape and accent mask
5) Outline with black and add Suzy Sparkles Glitter Gel (used platinum) to kick it up a notch!
Not sure why the pic monkey collage looks like it's cutting off on the right side for me? Just in case here is one more full view. Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you <3 Thank you for all that you share here!!! May all our rainbows lead to pots of gold and greater abundance in 2013

Hi Guys
Here's my shamrock flower fairy/princess
It was done in a bit of a hurry, sloppy looking shamrocks etc but you get the idea. im fairly new to face painting, coming up 2 yrs this summer (unfortunately don't get as much time as i'd like to do it) and can't get over the talent and the amount of help/advice on this forum, its truly fantastic!
chances are this design is probably a hibrid of designs i've seen on this forum/internet so apologise to anyone if its very similar to theirs lol, but thought i'd share anyway!!
Happy St Patricks day from Ireland!
