What to Wear????

I don't think I could pull off the costumes either. I know anther company in my area that calls their painters "Mad Hatters" and they all wear a funny hat. I think I could maybe do that! But I usually wear something simple and clean, and have a small apron that I made just to cover my lap. For more dressy events I'll wear nice pants, otherwise it's jeans. Last summer I ordered a t-shirt on CafePress for my county fair gig. It had my chicken hand painting (in my avatar) on the back and said, "Don't be a chicken. Get your face painted!" On the front I had a small pocket design that looked like a "Hello, my name is" name tag with my name on it. Then the first time I washed it the dang red neck and cuffs bled on the shirt!! Boooo!! I think I'll try it on black next time! I've also ordered aprons and baseball caps on Cafepress with my logo on them. But yeah, anything in white gets stained quickly with black spatters!

Yea, I wear a black Tshirt with a logo to match my business cards. I tried white first but it was terrible. I am lucky my hubby has a the setup to make printed or embroidered tshirts. Mine look like this...except on black.

I worked on this today and am pleasaed with it. I plan to make a few more for each season

I'm been trying to find a really cute zebra print one for the longest (love, love, love zebra)

My mom got this fabric in an estate sale, I have the apron, and a baby blanket I made my daughter... I have no idea how old ore where the print came from but I loved it when I saw it. Thanks Katurah

There is also zebra print duct tape and it comes in big squares for crafts, I don't know why you could not make an apron out of it, not sure how comfy it would be, but you could wipe it off!

LOL the first apron I made was out of denim and acrylic paint I am terrified to wash it. I love this as it is 100% cotton, and there is no paint involved. plus it is soft and not the least bit stiff. I made little dresses for Africa for my church out of pillow cases and basically derived a pattern fom those in a bigger size of course.

I got mine at Etsy.com, they have varied really nice, homemade aprons. I wanted to post mine but I can't do
it here.

Now it worked.

I know they have many with animal prints. I had this one on my file by the same Lady. I don't remember her name or her little site name. I got it last september, so. I'll let you know if i find the receit in my gmail.
