New painter in my area!

Does anyone know who this is, the pictures are really great but I think I have seen them around. Not sure if she is using her own work or not... Does anyone recognize the art?

Seems strange that she doesn't even have a werbsite listed. That's the only reason I am curious....I think if someone is that good they would want to show their credentials!

I've seen the leprechaun before. Maybe it's Shannon Fennells's. Check with her.

I only care because I think it is really wrong to market yourself using someone else's work! I know Shannon's work is amazing...it very well could be her Leprechaun. That's the one I was sure I have seen and the fleshy one to.

That fleshy one looks REALLY familar to me too, and her business name is NOT familar to me.

I tried them all on Google by right clicking on the image, copying the image URL and then pasting in the Google images "camera" to look for similar images...a trick someone mentioned here on the forum...anyway, nothing on the web so they might be hers. Try it on your own images.

That's creepy Denise...I tried that on my frog avatar and it showed it PLUS Fesspenter's corsette, some wuppies by Christina (I think) in Canada, LoveAllYourArt's booth, some of Mehndi Masala's work and a few more....

Shannon has several leprechuans on her blog, but I haven't seen any like that.

Maybe she just moved into your area, Erica. Or is someone who wasn't comfortable selling her work until she got really good. Or was covered by a no compete agreement that just ended.

FYI when I started I painted for almost 11 months before I put up a website...not enough pictures good pictures......I didn't want to post just 4 pictures when I started...I absolutely didn't want my first pictures to be on a site that looked crappy...and no matter what everyone said they were crummy looking.( I look back and think thank gosh I didn't put that crap up)...hehe I also wanted to be sure every pic I did on my website would look like that picture if I had to paint it on someones kid. Maybe she is in the process of building one..if you think about it this is a place to show off your best work to book jobs....and this work shoud be able to be duplicated exactly as it is....I dont allow my employees to go on a job until they are paiinting like I would....it is my name that they are representing.
