Hey fabulous painters,

So now that my glitter crisis is solved, I'd like some of your opinions on how best to go about painting these designs tonight: http://picasaweb.google.com/hrparker/VenetianMasks?authkey=Gv1sRgCJOZkJiQhK3j9AE&feat=directlink

There are six people, total, and I'm assuming they're all going to want a different design. We're doing venetian masks, a la "Eyes Wide shut", and they're all wanting a full Volto look (i.e. a full face, not just an eye mask).

Most of the designs have a white base, and I'm wondering which I should use. I currently have both Mehron Paradise and Wolfe White, and I'm thinking Paradise is probably going to work best coverage-wise, but I'd be happy to hear other opinions on it.

I'm planning on using Wolfe Silver and for the silver foil looks, Kryolan bronze for bronze and maybe gold looks, and Paradise gold with ABA gold dust for gold foil looks.

I have a few smaller gems (5mm), but I'm about to head out to get a few larger ones for the Tom Cruise-esque mask, and I'd like some suggestions on the best think to apply them with. I know the small ones can be attached using the glitter tat adhesive, but I don't know if that will hold larger ones. If not, any ideas on a good adhesive? Eyelash glue, perhaps?

And, finally, I have Liquid Bling in gold, silver, bronze/copper, white, and black, for 3D detail work.

So...good plans? Bad plans? Other suggestions?

TIA!

p.s. I have 2 1/2 hours to do all of them. That's doable, right?

yea, that's doable. I think that you've got a good plan, same kinda stuff I'd do. Good luck!
