My secret Santa package arrived!

I received: several different chocolates! a gift cert for the forum shop, a homemade split cake and another homemade one-stroke, (woohoo!) and a Wolfe black and white!

I'm so sorry for the delay! I let time run away from me, then the holiday put a hold on shipping from the supplier... It'll be there long before Christmas, I promise!

I divide my cakes in two and pair them in one container, like dark green with light green, then I get to play with the rest

Out of all the rainbow and split cakes I have, only 6 came from the shop.

Lol I am still pretty new, I don't think I even have 6 rainbow/splits total!lmao! I will get there one day though...

Maggie is right. Making splits and one strokes can be very adicting! I was afraid, too, but once encouraged, dug in. I'll give my new paints a test drive tomorrow. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Darn, I missed out this year. Have been busy with lots of personal and family goings on.
Well, can't wait to see what everyone gets! I will just live vicariously through everyone else.

I finally got my parcel into the post yesterday! I'm sorry it was a little late but the post office is a fair walk away and I wasn't able to get there earlier.

I really, really hope my recipient likes the gift when it arrives. It's not prettily wrapped, I'm afraid, but it's sent with lots of good wishes and hugs!

Wow, what a fabulous gift! Congratulations on your loot. Those colours look beautiful - the only Paradise I have is a Prisma cake, but I might expand in future after seeing these.

I have mine all boxed up finally and ready to go. I'm going to try to get to the post office tomorrow as I have 2 sick kids home with me today so I'm not going to work or anywhere else until tomorrow.....

I couldn't believe it: just kept pulling more & more out of the box. Your cute note on the card let me know you're not only a savvy shopper who "snapped up some after Halloween bargains" & can make her own split cakes, but being from my home state of MA...you sent a little Dunkin Love my way. OH, NO...I forgot to put this in my pic of gifts I received from Melissa. I must say, I've never used a Mica powder or the little smoothies but this is one of the nice things about this exchange. Are the little sponges the type you find in small packages of Wolfe paint? That would mean they're OK for use w/paint, not just Starblends, right? OR...you use the Mica to glam up an eye design, applying w/one of those small smoothies? BTW, Thank you for the Tag Pearl White. I asked for a lighter white to use for a base than the Wolfe white. Will practice tonight.

Hey Liz, you could do what HillbillyDiva and I are doing...a "not so secret santa" gift exchange. I'm sure there are still a few people that would love to do a swap with you...mine is almost ready to send out. I am just waiting on 1 more thing to come in the mail.

Whew! I'm so glad you're happy with the gift! I started to think I should've added more after I sent it out! The brushes and sponge thingy's are indeed from the Wolfe paint! I haven't used the sponges yet but I love the brushes for small flowers. That particular mica is nice for adding a bit of shimmer since it isn't as opaque as some. Hope you have fun playing with your new stuff!

The spongy things are amazing! I got some in the Halloween Wolfe paint, and I use them with white or black eyeshadow instead of putting goopy paint on eyelids. It seems to stick so much better than with the little applicators. I wish I had more.
