Hey, would it be fun to drop hints about our "recipient" or should we keep quiet? What do you guys think?

Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
Yep, that's how I take it Shannon. I will send a couple of things on the wish list on mine but I am going to try to be a bit creative this time around too.
Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
Chocolate???Ohhhh, I didn't even think of that. Good idea. BTW, Thanks Jody. I got mine. Off to get creative
Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
Martha, no hints!! LOL Just kidding, guess that's not up to me at all but I will not be giving my person any hints but they will know when they get it. Oh and to weigh in on the Chocolate debate dark chocolate wins hands down.
Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
If anyone gets any milk chocolate they don't want, let me know and I'll PM you my address
Also, Jenny, in years past we said that you had to take a photo of what you DID with your present - so a design using your new paint/gear! (Thinking back, I don't actually think I got around to doing that last year...whoops.)

Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
What's a great idea? Taking a photo of what you did with your new swag, or sending me all of your milk chocolate?
Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
I was thinking of baking something for my person, but not knowing food allergies i decided against it though i make killer fudge
Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
Just the picture taking. I'm not one to give up chocolate light or dark,LOL.
Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
I'm only allergic to beef. Unless they are planning to send chocolate covered beef jerky I'm good for dark, milk, white chocolate ...

Am I the only one stalking my "person's" posts to figure out what to get?
I am clueless

They offered no "wish list" Maggie? I am having a difficult time going beyond my "giftee's" wish list as well. Hope "they" like what I'm giving "them". (Proud of me Jody?---I didn't even offer a clue as to the sex of my "giftee"!

I was referring to taking photos. I'd be happy to send you some chocolate, but my friend from Alberta says Canadian chocolate is so much better than American.
Funny story -- when my son was little, he didn't like sweets at all. Not cupcakes, or ice cream, or regular candy. However, he was an absolute fiend for Hershey's Kisses and he could spot them a mile away. He'd point, and lurch, and make all kinds of noises as soon as he saw one. For his first birthday, he had strawberries and chocolate instead of a cake. He's 12 now, and quite the connosieur.

Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
I shipped mine straight from Metina, so no gift wrap or chocolate. Oh well, next year I'll know better.

Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
My giftee's getting a little chocolate treat regardless. I figured if there are allergies, it can get given away.
Can't wait for the gifts I ordered to arrive, so I can send it off!
Are we supposed to put our names on the packages, or keep it secret? Customs stickers notwithstanding, of course - I can't remember whether I have to put my name on there, but I think I do.

Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Exchange
I am putting my name on the gift, I think most people do it that way. Keeping it secret but only till they open it.
