Start with some silver on the forehead & some blush

Paint the wreath, bow, & ribbon

Intertwine the Christmas lights with the ribbon & add some ornaments to the wreath.

Add in the holly under the wreath & at the corner of each eye.

Outline with black

Add in the details & a few stars here & there


Add glitter & some liquid bling & TADA

These are all so cool, we will have plenty of ideas for Christmas parties! Kayla, I'm lovin that design! Your light strand looks so delicate.

Ok, I'll post this here because I painted it a few days ago but it's not an entry for the challege, as it's not an original design of mine. I think I saw it here last year (CotonCandyClown, maybe?) but I saw it for the very first time on the Snazaroo photo page (from David O'Connell). Anyway, I thought I'd share and I couldn't find a thread about Christmas designs 2013 so here it is:

Well, I only entered once way back and didn't put a step by step so here goes. It's my first time painting on the mannequin head I found at Valu Village and I found it a bit challenging but practice is practice.

Supplies used:

#10 Filbert
#'s1,2,3 and 6 rounds
Mehron Metallic Silver powder
Homemade SuzySparkles splitcake. I think it is Wolfe and I used the metallic dark blue and a light blue.
TAG Magnnolia (used the wine and pink portion)
Paradise Drk green
Paradise Drk Brown
Wolfe Black and White

That is SO funky. I love it!

Thank you Tasha. Most of the time I have to do really fast work as there's more kids than expected so this one is designed for that reason. For the past 15 years I have volunteered for a local family support center's functions and the Christmas party is coming up. I generally have around 50 children so fast is good. ;D
