Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
I'm having to concentrate my own practice on faces suitable for grown-ups at the moment, in readiness for my 6-hour pub gig on Friday!
If things ease off as the night goes on (and the patrons drink more), I can always come home early. Or if, y'know, my body decides to stop. Le sigh.
After that, I'll try to work through your list! Promise with cherries on top!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Kammy--I am really excited for you! What are you working on for grown-ups?
OK---I started with the faces I was most comfortable with--and now I am getting into ones I am not--as you will see
This one is the best of the group today---She doesn't hold still and she has a hard time looking at me, so that is why the nose is a little off to the side
I have now done two of these and they look the exact same, so I gotta STOP painting them til I can figure it out better or else it will becme habit to paint it this way!
This one is just bad! I had no design going in and it only got worse from there--will have to design one and redo his one--I am countng it done for now-but I want a RE-DO
of course my little man didn't let me finish, so Again this one is considered a half face-this one will also be a redo when this 30 days ends--ugg

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
I am kind of hitting a wall with this! These next two weeks are kind of busy!
Heres to hoping--and it I really wanted to get picky I have until Nov 12th to get all my faces done--since I didn't start this until the 13th of October.
OK I did a dragon, but it isn't letting me download right now---I will try to do it tomorrow
I have started a No Computer rule for myself while the kids are home from school so unless I get it done after they go to bed--I will see you all tomorrow!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Amy, I got on the forum the other day and wrote a long comment on how much I liked the paintings you were doing and specific things too!! and BOOM the whole comment disappeared. I was as frustrated as the snake that married the garden hose!! and gave up becos I didn't have much time. So I just want you to know how much I appreciate your faces and admire you for setting this goal for yourself. You are coming along SO nicely! Hard to believe you started painting not that long ago! Keep up the good work! purrrr

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
I should be better by now, but it is amazing how life gets in the way and findin time to practice is so hard!
I wish I could practice every day and I am sure I could if I stopped wasting so much time on the dang computer!
I will have the Corpes Bride done soon and my SIL is having a party tomorrow so I will be taking along my case and hanging out with the kids most likely! Our church had a party, but facepainting and masks were not allowed! I still painted a few of us--my neice, me, a tiny on my daughter and son.....
Tomorrow is another full day, but I will have my neices so the facepainting will continue--I am hoping to get at least 3 more faces (5 at the best) done tomorrow!
thanks for everyones encouragement---I am kind of a "put it out there" person---
HOW COME NO ONE ELSE HAS POSTED ANY OF THEIR FACES? really ladies/gentlemen I would love for someone else to step up and do this challenge! Halloween is a perfect time! You can make your own list--you don't have to follow mine!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
OK --- I went to my SIL halloween party and took my facepaints--had lots of fun!!
Here are some faces I got done!
A princess look--her swirls matched her dress, and it had gold cicles on it--can't really seem them on her forehead--but they are there.
A different kind of flower face for me--I like it, but my flowers are still lacking!
So I already did a butterfly, but I love this one--so here is another one.
I am changing Zoro to Cowboy--ONLY because I have gotten more request for cowboys (and I live in cowboy country)--But just wait--Next summer I think Lone Ranger/Tonto will be big facepainting requests (ok my husband was an extra in the Disney movie coming out and I am STILL so excited I tell everyone I can whenever I can--so if I see a trailer or when the movie comes out I will let you know if I see him in it!!)
she said it looks more native american then pirate--I agree--but I still think it is pretty.
I have wanted to do these eye things for a while--so again I think I will add this to the list. He wanted to know if I could paint those on before church so he could sleep through church and no one would know--ha ha ha---PS: he wanted red eyes
I think I already did a clown, but I think this is cuter---it matched her outfit.
OK that is it for tonight! Getting closer!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
I Like this clown also better. I still didn't make my list. I want to paint the faces from extreme facepainting, and I want to design my won paintings.
Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Love your butterfly. the rest are fun too, but the butterfly is gorgeous. I suck at bflys- must practice practice practice!!
Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Wow! Wow! Wow! Amy!
You are our poster girl for "practice makes perfect." You are really coming along from the start...what? a month ago? What a great job you did on these. I too especially like the butterfly...and the eyes...and the...clown and the... well you are just doing wonderfully!
Hey, that's neat that your husband got to be an extra in the Disney movie...keep us posted if you see him in the trailer.

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
so I accidently posted a new topic to show my skull, sugar skull, and corpes bride--so go and find it if you really want to see them--sorry They don't just copy over and my computer is So slow sometimes I am not taking the time to transfer the pictures over to here!
SO moving on---I got two more faces done, but I had my dear husband home and he seemed a little frustrated that I would start painting faces right before bed time---They were only in bed 15 minutes late! so that through me off a little
I did a zombie and a unicorn---my DD would NOT hold still to save her life--she was trying to look at a book while I did this!!
I was working on colors and placement of scars vs. lips and showing teeth---I didn't add any texture, which I would have it i wasn't so close to bed---I feel like this is a good start--but just a start
the unicorn started out bad when she movd and caused 3 big ops--I nknow I need to learn to deal with it, but I was frustrated cause she told me to paint her--then she didn't want me to about 1/3 of the way in--the bottom lip was trying to fix a mistake--the 2nd nose hole was fixing a mistake---LIke I said I have done way better, so while I am not thriled with this one I have gotten to practice it--and this one is a perfecct example of what NOT to do! The wings are pretty horrible too--trying something new that just did not work!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Awww i love the skull and the butterfly such a beautiful color! What paint is the neon butterfly? I'm in love! Great job Amy
Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Ashovoxox--- I used a Neon Rainbow cake and Wolfe Black
I actually took the label off---that is one thing I am OCD about--I don't like labels on stuff and other then food I take labels off of most my stuff--strange I know!
I have only ordered from Sillyfarm and FacePaintForum so I don't know which one it is from
my butterfly is my favorite thing I have ever painted so far

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Yeah I kind of figured that out---I am now trying to whip out faces instead of actually work on them--so I am going my self an extention---I love being the Boss!
I like this for my mask, but i want to try a full face and eye design next
I just didn't like this
Didn't make it better
What are your suggestions/pictures for Camo? I live in rural america so I KNOW I will have camo faces some time

I am new to this forum and new to face painting, and just wanted to say I really love your second butterfly and your scarecrow. They are very cute.
