30 faces in 30 days?
So I think I am going to try to do 30 Different faces in the next 30 days. I am lacking in boy faces (I have 2 neices and 2 daugters--1 son---only 15 months so he won't let me do very much, and 1 nephew who won't let me do anything at all), so I have set up with a home school mom of 4 boys to do their faces.
So I am off to do 30 different faces in 30 days! Can't wait! I will try to post pictures at the end of every day (but I know some days I won't get any, so that is why I didn't make this a 'face a day for 30 days' thing.
This is what I would like to paint.
To Be Compeleted 10 More--I think this list has grown! and I think 9 more days! Better get to it!
Batman
Shark/Dophine
Silly Smile
Crazy/scary smile
Mummy
Finished
*Army Man
*Ladybug
* Unicorn
*Zombie
*1. Fantasy/Fairy
*3. Flower Face
*4. Sugar Skull
*4 1/2. Skull
*9. Corpes Bride
*10. Zoro/cowboy
*Crazy eyes
*16. Butterfly
*17. Princess
*18. Tiger
*19. Puppy
*20. monster
*21. Kitty
*22. Dragon
*23. pirate
*24. spidey
*25. Green Guy (hulk)
*26. Snake
*27. Dinosoar
*28. Wuppies
*29. Holly/Ivy
*30. Clown
*31. scarcrow
10/18= 16 done and 16 To Go!
my biggest challenge is that my 2 girls now are over the facepainting thing and the last 3 times I have asked they reply with "not now" or "I am not in the mood"---
They have sat through a ton--but now I am worried I won't get this done and I didn't want to paint them on me--but we may have to resort to that!
10/24--I have put all the ones I still need to do at the top and completed ones on the bottom--
10/29---life always throws a curve ball--my little man has a temp of 102 for the second day--he won't me do anything but hold him while he is awake---so my face paint time has been cut short--still have a week to finish this list--halloween day should help!
11/3--so my little man has been sick for the last 8 days and I have been mostly cleaning up after his illness and holding him--but I am back so I hope to get some more knocked out soon!
11/4---I am taking reindeer off since I have more then 30 faces anyway and when I do the Christmas 30 faces I will do it there! So now I have 7 left! I can do it!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
You'll need a regular skull too... my most popular boy design. Good thing October has 31 days, eh?

Amylady222,
That's a great idea! It's important to practice the most popular designs...good list for sure

I don't know if I'll get it done in 30 days, but I'm going to work through your list and add on the regular skull that Shannon mentioned. Sounds like fun! Can't wait to see your designs, Amy. xx

7 1/2 down--23 1/2 left
Alright--since I first posted I have done 7 1/2 faces--
Here they go!
My tiger-(this one was done quickly and with minimal details--this little girl can't get enough of the rainbow tiger--so while this one isn't my best work---I feel like I am pretty good at my normal tiger--it still needs a few details worked out--I feel pretty good about it.
My Kitty--slowly getting there
I just can't get these princess designs down! Ugg needs lots of work! The middle circle is silver with lots of fairy dust glitter--
Spider Girl--I normally don't do the spiderweb coming from the mouth, but I was playing. Plus I am not consistant in this face--I think one I use the white powder--and I just don't like it so I went over it with tag white. Plus I think I would pull the red down next time--and you can't see, but I poofed glitter all over the red before putting the lines on.
My first snake--The details need some work, and I am not sure if I like the snake coming in and out of the head--I can't get that right! Anyway--I like this best done with a green arty cake I have--but she would only let me do a snake if it was in pink-(and I will leave the eye dots off next time--again just playing)
The Butterfly---This is one that I feel more comfortable with--I wan't being very perticular since this is about the 10th butterfly I did on his little girl--BUT her grandma is the mayor in a larger town and saw this and wants to hire me for some functions she is in charge of!! YEAH!
My 1st pirate. Again-Pink! I do like that I put earrings on her, it was her idea, I also drew a ring to match and if I had lots of time I would draw a ring on every finger for a girl pirate--the heart on the eye patch was also her idea--she is creative! Not bad, but I gott o look at some bandana photos to get some help!
and my 1/2....
Since this was the FIRST time he let me paint him I did it really fast. My little man --I keep saying 15 months, but he is 16months now-He didn't hold still very well, but hen he would look in the mirror he would growl at himself! So cute!

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
Amy they are wonderful!! You are coming along Great! And how clever to paint the granddaughter of the mayor! You may find yourself with a booming business sooner than you think.
The snake coming in and out of the head is very creative!! Also like the pink pirate! It's neat how sometimes kids come up with good ideas when you are painting them ie pink heart in eye patch!
And maybe after this your "little monster" will be more excited each time to let you paint just a little bit more, until you have a full face. Cute how he would go growl at himself!!

Amy, I love your faces so far! Congrats on getting such commendation from the mayor - that butterfly is so pretty. And your little man is just heartbreakingly cute - so sweet!
There's a whole lot of pink in those photos!

Amy, Really like your pink pirate. I do one inspired by Tash, but the pink patch doesn't show up like yours. Gonna give it a try! Thanks.

3 more done--better get more done ASAP!
puppy--gotta work on the ears--just cant get them right--and forgot the under part of her nose
these are the kids of the wuppies in the next picture--their names are dilly, philly, and corry
my wuppie mom and dad--named Rory and Jilly--i tried to do a tie--and their hands and feet???
so i am lost on what to paint if someone wants a clown--i have a better idea-so this one needs redone, but for now i am counting it good

Re: 30 faces in 30 days?
OK ladies--so many of you have said you are doing these faces too--so where are your pictures
I don't practice nearly as often as I should---it is a double edged sword to practice for me---gotta get better, but can't use up paints till I earn some more to buy some more--ya know!?
anyway--thanks for the encouragement---gotta a birthday party for my little 5 year old tomorrow so....maybe I will pull out my facepaints at the end and do some more of my faces---
Thanks for all your kind words---
