Gallery photos

Is anyone else having trouble viewing their images in the gallery?
I pull up my gallery, but there's only descriptive text, no pictures.

Apparently forumotion is doing an update to its software and many forums are experiencing this. Hopefully it will fix itself over the weekend.

After many failed attempts to resolve this it looks like, we will just need to replace our gallery photos. Please be aware that there are still some gallery quircks.

I looked into my gallery and the best I can determine, the behind the scenes people are trying to match up our missing gallery photos with the names, but alas some of our names would be similar and you get other people's pics in your gallery. I had a pumpkin face in mind that I would have loved to have claimed, but wasn't mine. I just deleted it. It seems to be uploading fine now.

Well, I did it now. I ended up blocking all the pictures....and I don't know how to unblock them....Metina, HELP. I was trying to figure out how to delete my gallery so that I could start anew, what a mess I have made.

So is it best to simply delete gallery pics and reupload - that is easy enough - well maybe not for Jenny! It took a second to figure out how but it is easy.

I just want to delete what is there... just the little X boxes and the captions... but can't find the delete function anywhere??? Metina, can you just clear my gallery of everything?

When you select the photo there is a drop down box. If you click it, delete is near the bottom.

I have deleted all of your photos for you.

Thanks Metina. But now How do I unblock? I ended up blocking all the pictures in the gallery.....and I don't know what to do to see them again.

You have to select the picture as in see it in its large view. You should then have a drop down box that says "orginal picture." If you click on it you will get the options to view it as a slide show, delete, lock ect...

Select delte to delte the picture. Jenny I think you selected lock from this drop down box. It shouldn't be a problem since your pics are deleted now.

Let me know if I need to go through and manually delete everyones photos. Please respond if you are able to do this or if this is something that maybe only I as the admin can do. Sometimes I can see a lot more things than others do.

Okay... figured it out... once you explained it Metina!! All deleted now.

Thanks again Metina. Well my problem was bigger.....I blocked the pictures on the whole forum....I couldn't see anyones pics in the gallery. The answer was in 'Tools', 'Options', 'Contact', followed by 'load images automatically' Exceptions.

Whooo, Hooo....I figured it out and didn't make it worst.

I can see again.
